Morris-Shea Drill Rig Arrives at Raleigh Construction Site

After a 5-day trip, Morris-Shea Bridge Co. , a Deep Foundation Contractor, arrived at the 301 Hillsborough St, Raleigh site with their drill rig. Oversize Load permits were pulled for the states of Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina and the maximum speed limit was 40 miles per hour. Maximum torque (weight to penetrate soils and bedrock) is 500 Kilonewtons or 112,000lbs!
