Morris-Shea routinely performs a supplemental geotechnical investigation for no additional fee with the use of our own 30-ton Cone Penetration Test (CPT) rig. Our in-house pile capacity software combines new CPT results with pile load test data from every DeWaal pile job since 1992 to accurately predict the behavior of DeWaal Drilled Displacement Piles.

This archival information provides critical tools that are unique to the industry for the estimation of production scheduling, tool wear, concrete consumption and pile capacity. With new and archived data, Morris-Shea can optimize a foundation redesign as an enhanced Value Engineered alternate, such as DeWaal.
